Description

Tomorrow I will use my cape again, tomorrow I will put on my top hat again, tomorrow I will walk that alley again, tomorrow they will play music for me again, tomorrow… tomorrow… maybe… I will have no more tomorrows… perhaps tonight, will be my last night.

We are in 1888, and Jack the Ripper begins his “collection”. For months, 5 murders will fill the local newspapers and terrify the population, while the police will feel powerless to solve the cases. Until one day, it all ends without apparent reason.

This is the story behind the myth of Jack the Ripper, a murderer who has endured in memory and has inspired countless games, series, movies, and everything you can think of, and Letters from Whitechapel is no exception.

Across 4 rounds, the player controlling Jack will attempt to commit the 5 murders, while the rest of the players try to stop him by controlling the 5 police chiefs.

Letters from Whitechapel is a deduction game where a group of players will take on the role of the police, and one player will act as Jack the Ripper.

Initially, the police will be groping in the dark until they can tighten the noose around Jack, who, throughout the game, will feel the pressure of the lawmen looking for clues and following his steps to catch him.

Letters from Whitechapel is an all-against-one game, where the police must collaborate and act as a single mind to discover where Jack or his hideout is. In contrast, Jack is the lone wolf, moving through the shadows and leaving clues wherever he goes.

Jack's objective is to commit the 5 murders and escape from each of them, whereas the police's objective is to capture him or prevent him from reaching his hideout, on any of the nights that make up the rounds of the game.

It will keep you on edge from start to finish. If you like games of intrigue, deduction, and mystery, Letters from Whitechapel will hook you from the start to the end of the game.
