Wingspan is a strategy and engine-building board game designed by Elizabeth Hargrave and published in 2019. Players take on the role of bird watchers and compete to attract the most valuable species to their wildlife reserves. Using bird cards, food, and eggs, they must optimize their actions to earn victory points. With beautiful aesthetics and high-quality components, Wingspan combines accessible mechanics with deep strategy.
Wingspan Asia Expansion
Choose to play Wingspan Asia as a standalone game for 1 or 2 players, expand the original game to 6 or 7 players, or simply add new cards to your base Wingspan game. New items: 90 different bird cards, 14 new bonus cards, a new egg color, and much more.
In Wingspan Asia, we welcome new bird species by exploring the vibrant, intriguing, and magnificent birds of the Asian continent, featuring stunningly realistic and naturalistic illustrations by Natalia Rojas and Ana María Martínez Jaramillo.
Earn food tokens through custom dice in a bird feeder dice tower, place eggs using miniature eggs in a variety of colors, draw from 170 unique bird cards, and play. Each bird extends a chain of combinations. Score points, play new birds, assist others, and discover new abilities!
Every bird element used in each card is tied to the theme and mechanics of the game: the type of nest and the number of eggs it can hold, the size of the birds and many of their abilities, the type of food required to attract the bird.
